"I have always loved travel and seeing new places espcecially for the first time, it gives me the chance to photograph places with the vision of a child, with a sense of wonder and I love that, I love to capture that. These shots from New York were taken on my first trip there, during the heatwave of 2012. I arrived on a Sunday morning, the newspaper headlines reported record temperatures and there I was sitting in the back of the yellow cab seeing Manhattan for the first time, I am always glad to catch those moments"
